Elite Laser 49er (c1979)

a kit-car minivan based on a VW Beetle chassis, the original flat 4 engine could be replaced by a Corvair or Porsche flat 6. around 30 kits were sold.

They really should’ve stuck with the early design language for the Model X. This prototype looks way cooler.

I’d like to see a one-box design, but I guess the huge windshield required would have been too expensive for a kit car.
